My aunt Edith was a widow(寡妇) of 50, working as a secretary, when doctors discovered what was then thought to be a very serious heart disease.

In the playground Bob showed me the watch. He put it on his wrist, and it looked love ly. I wished I had been the one to sit by the table. It was really a beautiful watch, gold by the look of it.
